Leathermom and Ladydad Take Connecticut

My debut memoir is a funny and poignant tale that follows my perspective from my mother’s supernatural pregnancy with me through to the end of an unconventional childhood. My parents are neurodivergent sadomasochists who run kinky sex support groups. They view the world through decidedly unusual lenses. My mother Lydia and my father, now called Samantha, raise their children with a contrary mix of warm affection, distracted absence, off-kilter guidance, and accidental neglect. Meanwhile, I first adopt, then challenge, then mostly escape, and ultimately greatly benefit from the paradigm of reality that I inherited.

The reader lives with me through graphically detailed, surreal, hilarious, terrifying, relatable, and emotionally resonant challenges of my youth, which are further twisted and enhanced through the influence of my strange environment. 

I am currently seeking an agent and publisher.
